Developer Diary 14/01/2014

E' da parecchio tempo che volevo scrivere un diario dello sviluppatore, ma un mix di indolenza, pessima connessione internet domestica e salute mi hanno trattenuto dal farlo.

Non che la salute fosse grave (a settembre ho contratto la mononucleosi), ma scrivere posts in cui racconto "oggi ho fatto poco, ero stanco" oppure "oggi non ho lavorato, avevo la febbre", non mi sembravano particolarmente accattivanti.
In più le prime fasi dello sviluppo hanno riguardato concepts di gioco e tabelle excell, entrambi materiale non particolarmente fotogenico.

Ora sebbene indolenza e connessione scadente rimangano presenti, la salute è decisamente migliorata e sono determinato a scrivere frequenti post sullo stato del lavoro sul seguito di Doom & Destiny: Advanced Doom & Destiny.

Mi voglio soffermare sul titolo, che ha abbandonato il "2" che era comparso in alcuni screenshots...
Perchè tale azzardo? Che AD&D non sia il seguito di Doom & Destiny? Che sia un prequel? Che sia un remake?

It's been a while since I wanted to write a developer diary, but a mix of laziness, awfull home internet connection and health stopped me from doing it.

I'd like to point out that my health wasn't in danger (in September I've got mononucleosis), but I believe that writing about how much I was tired or how high was my fever isn't particularly charming.
And I think that early game concepts and excell tables aren't very "photogenic".

Now, even if I'm still lazy and my internet sucks hard, I'm determined to start writing about my work on the sequel of Doom & Destiny: Advanced Doom & Destiny.

I'd like to point out the lack of "2" in the title as some early screenshots teased a long ago...
Why!?! Is AD&D not a sequel? Is it a prequel? Maybe it's a remake!
